Reminder - Dues - emails will be sent soon for 2017 Annual Dues which are for the calendar year starting January 1, 2017. Just a heads up.
Finally, please update your profile today and if you want the electronic copy of the newsletter, please check the box within the profile, otherwise it will be mailed to you in addition to being posted on the web.
Need back issues? The web site contains at least the last 3 newsletters but if you need back copies, please contact the newsletter editor for a CD.
Welcome to our SCOA site.
There are two types of access to this site, both require joining to participate in the forums but otherwise you are more than welcome to browse any of the information about SCOA and the Southern Cross Yachts.
1) Open Community -Forum Only - There is no cost and then you can use the general Forum to discuss boats and gear with Owners and non owners alike.
2) SCOA Members - They have access to Member-Member Forums, Membership Directory, Newsletter and other postings for members only ($35/year). Other benefits include access to past newsletters (over 89 newsletters, access to member/boat directory and other information only available to members). It's the least expensive, most valuable boating investment you can make.
SCOA Ambassadors - Have a question? Post it on the Open Community Site or SCOA Member Forum. Ask away and they will try to answer any and all questions.
Members? Want to post pictures. Check out the ability to do this from your profile.
For new owners who are not SCOA members, please join by selecting the "Join SCOA" link. This will kick off a registration form and you will need to submit your annual dues via mail (we don't have on-line payment at this time) and once the Secretary Treasurer receives your dues, you will be active and have access to the member only site including member-member forums, on-line directly and
For existing members, please logon, set your password, and update your profile and sign up to be a Greeter in your area if you like. This new feature is to help other members in a variety of ways.
